NEKTON-Biotin supports smooth molting and feather regeneration. NEKTON-Biotin contains all the essential vitamins, amino acids, minerals, trace elements and 200,000 mcg of biotin / kg. NEKTON-Biotin gives birds a smooth and shiny plumage. The majority of plumage damage that occurs when rearing birds can be attributed exclusively to poor nutrition. Since the feathers consist of a substance rich in protein, a diet rich in proteins especially for the bird is a prerequisite for the formation of pure feathers. The daily diet should contain enough vitamins, minerals and trace elements for the metabolism. The majority of animal losses that occur during the molting period are based on a deficiency or imbalance of protein intake and/or a lack of supply of vitamins and minerals.

No other vitamin complex should be administered while using NEKTON-Biotin. NEKTON-Biotin is soluble in cold water and can be easily administered via drinking water or soft feed.

The protein ingested with forage is dispersed in the bird's gut into individual protein bases (amino acids) and thus builds up the naturally produced protein bases, which it needs for feather development.

The growth of feathers when nesting and the regeneration of the feathers of birds in the feathers are very complex processes and are associated with especially severe stress on the entire body of the animal.

In cases of severe feather damage, a double or even triple dose of NEKTON-Biotin may be given initially, until the first signs of feather regeneration appear. After that, a normal dose is enough until the feather regeneration is complete.
